Job Overview

The Administrator of Medical Operations will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational aspects of the practice, ensuring the financial health, human resource management, and strategic direction align with the mission of delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership capabilities, experience in healthcare management, and a dedication to advancing women's health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Oversight: Manage all facets of practice operations, including staff management, appointment scheduling, patient throughput, and facility oversight. Formulate and execute policies and procedures aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Financial Oversight: Create and oversee practice budgets, financial projections, and revenue goals to ensure fiscal responsibility and profitability. Assess financial performance, focusing on revenue cycle management and expenditure control.
  • Human Resource Leadership: Lead the recruitment, training, and supervision of both administrative and clinical personnel. Establish and enforce employee policies, performance evaluation systems, and professional development programs.
  • Strategic Development: Formulate and implement strategic initiatives to foster practice growth and sustainability. Identify and pursue opportunities for business expansion and partnerships to enhance competitive positioning.
  • Compliance and Quality Management: Ensure adherence to all regulatory and accreditation standards relevant to healthcare operations. Implement quality control measures and risk management strategies to uphold high standards of patient care.
  • Patient Engagement: Direct patient relations and service initiatives to cultivate a positive patient experience. Address and resolve patient concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Health Information Oversight: Manage the integrity of medical records and health information systems to guarantee accurate and secure documentation of patient interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in healthcare management, ideally within a medical practice or healthcare facility.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide staff towards achieving organizational objectives.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and capability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Expertise in financial management, budgeting, and operational oversight.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and quality assurance standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with patients, staff, and external partners.
