Job Title: Store Manager in TrainingJob Summary:

Brakes Plus is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Store Manager in Training program. As a Store Manager in Training, you will be responsible for developing the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful store manager. This is a fast-paced and dynamic role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly interact with customers to provide exceptional service and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Create a positive and productive team environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Supervise technicians and plan and schedule their duties, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Evaluate the performance and productivity of all personnel, providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
  • Manage parts inventory and outside purchases, ensuring that all necessary materials are available and up-to-date.
  • Ensure store safety and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Develop and implement coaching tactics and training programs to improve team performance.
  • Supervise the shop area, equipment, and teammates to ensure compliance with company safety procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all store operations are meeting company standards.
Requirements:
  • Outstanding leadership and store management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a leadership role, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to mentor others in a manner that ensures efficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members.
  • Proven track record of exceeding business objectives.
  • Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team.
