Job Title: Automotive Retail Store Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Retail Store Associate to join our team at Speedway Motors Inc.

Job Summary

The Automotive Retail Store Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing orders and returns, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with product information, sales, and suggestions.
  • Process orders, returns, and payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Pull orders from the warehouse, create invoices, and deliver products to the correct location.
  • Create and process loan tickets for products as needed.
  • Reverse loan tickets when products are returned.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Distribute returned products to the quality control department.
  • Recognize and document trends, and recommend process improvements.
  • Safely operate equipment such as tuggers, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Assist with product repairs, labeling, and stamping.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6-12 months of prior automotive experience or equivalent education combination.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer literacy, including internet and Microsoft Office knowledge.
