Job Summary

Volt is seeking a Quality Technician to join our team in Franklin, WI. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and meeting customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and validate parts and assemblies against drawings and specifications to ensure conformance to established guidelines and standards.
  • Investigate quality issues and assist in researching and resolving product quality problems.
  • Compile clear and concise quality notifications and communicate results to request effective corrective action.
  • Assist with customer returns and help determine corrective action to resolve quality issues.
  • Recommend improvements to processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality of output.
  • Execute transactions within the SAP Enterprise System.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in a Quality department in a machine shop environment.
  • Ability to read blueprint and schematic drawings, understand GD&T, and proficient math skills.
  • Knowledge of the metric system and experience with measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of gage lab processes and quality audit procedures.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-directed to research, investigate, analyze, and document information to resolve problems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
What We Offer

$20.00 – 27.50/hour + 10% shift differential for 2nd shift. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
