Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver outstanding nutritional care to patients in inpatient settings;
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the nutrition department;
  • Participate in weekend and holiday rotations to provide hospital-wide coverage;
  • Be knowledgeable in Nutrition Focused Physical Exam and Malnutrition Identification;
  • Mentor dietetic interns.

Candidate Profile:

We are seeking individuals who possess:

  • Registered Dietitian credentials or are eligible for registration;
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to engage with diverse individuals and groups;
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities;
  • Effective time management skills, self-motivation, and teamwork;
  • The capability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff.

Compensation and Benefits:

Sodexo provides fair and competitive compensation, which is partially influenced by a candidate's educational background and relevant experience. While the budgeted range for this position is available, salary offers are tailored based on individual qualifications, including experience, skills, education, and training.


Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:
Master's degree with completion of necessary coursework and supervised practice as mandated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). For those eligible for the registration exam prior to the specified date, a Bachelor's degree with the same completion requirements is acceptable.


Credential Requirements:

Must meet the eligibility criteria for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) as outlined by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and achieve registration within a specified timeframe after hiring. In certain states and/or facilities, RD/RDN credentials may be required at the time of employment. Additionally, certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice may be necessary.
