Provide comprehensive nutrition consultation and education to patients and their families identified with nutritional risks.


Key Responsibilities:
Act as a nutrition advocate for patients.

Deliver evidence-based medical nutrition therapy tailored to patients with varying health conditions, including the management of enteral nutrition initiation and progression, in accordance with established nutrition protocols.

Ensure ongoing professional development and maintain the necessary skills for effective practice.

Qualifications:
Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related discipline

Preferred - Master's Degree in Nutrition or a related discipline

Experience:
Minimum - One (1) year of relevant clinical and nutrition experience

Preferred - Two (2) years of relevant clinical and nutrition experience

Licensure and Certifications:
Minimum –

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist as recognized by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
State of Wisconsin certification/licensure as required
Illinois Licensed Dietetic Nutritionist credential for interstate practice as mandated for RDNs in the outpatient setting within three months of hire

Preferred –

Certification as a specialist as required for the role or the ability to obtain within the first two years of employment
Maintain CPR certification
