Position Overview

We invite you to join our team at Virginia Mason Bainbridge Adult Primary Care as a Certified Medical Assistant. In this pivotal role, you will assist the medical and nursing teams by executing both administrative and clinical responsibilities. Key duties include:

  • Managing patient appointment schedules
  • Supporting patient care activities
  • Facilitating the smooth operation of patient visits

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting or completion of a relevant training program
  • Ability to secure Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) certification in Washington within 60 days of employment
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Strong communication skills, a positive demeanor, and excellent organizational capabilities
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work autonomously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
