With a focus on delivering exceptional patient experiences, you will assist providers and other healthcare professionals in the clinic, performing a variety of back-office and patient-related tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with patient rooming, vital sign measurement, and preparation for exams
  • Performing procedures within the Medical Assistant scope of practice, such as injections, EKGs, and blood draws
  • Managing patient flow, including pre-visit preparation, assisting with patient visits, and post-visit duties
  • Informing providers of schedule changes and assisting with front office activities

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or GED and the ability to read and comprehend at a 12th-grade level or above
  • Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program and certification as a Medical Assistant (CM) or Medical Assistant Interim (IC)
  • Strong aptitude for detail, ability to work independently, and excellent organizational, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
