Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified physician scientist to join our team at the University of Virginia, Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging. As a Clinician Investigator, you will have the opportunity to conduct rigorous research and contribute to the advancement of molecular imaging, theranostics, and targeted radiotherapy.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a productive research program, securing funding from the NIH and other federal sources.
  • Collaborate with clinician and basic scientist colleagues to advance research efforts.
  • Conduct clinical work in Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, including call coverage and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Develop and deliver formal teaching and contribute to volunteer service activities.
Requirements
  • M.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Eligibility for Virginia State Medical Licensure.
  • Board eligible or certified in Radiology or Nuclear Medicine.
  • Successful track record in clinical, translational, or basic science research.
