Job Summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain plating equipment, including cleaning baths and passivation systems.
  • Inspect and evaluate materials, including size, shape, and condition, to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Participate in and support team initiatives to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering and team members to develop and improve layout procedures and process sheets.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance and ensure equipment is in operation.
  • Proactively work to improve efficiency and quality of products.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years manufacturing experience.
  • Prior experience working with acids and bases, and understanding of basic chemical safety.
  • Past experience in a self-directed teaming environment.
  • Familiarity with 5S & lean manufacturing knowledge.
