Job Summary

Ventura Orthopaedic Medical Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Case Management Department Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our Case Management Department, you will provide critical support to our Case Managers and other team members to ensure the efficient and smooth operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run daily reports to confirm elective surgeries and identify changes to patient schedules or procedures.
  • Manage incoming faxes, upload them into our patient tracking system, and assign them to the appropriate team member.
  • Create and maintain the weekly schedule, updating it as changes arise.
  • Prepare and distribute documents using Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel.
  • Remove Program Patient notifications within our Electronic Medical Records system for patients who have exceeded their episode date.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by our Case Managers and Assistant Case Manager.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 12-18 months of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Adobe.
  • Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
