Job Summary:

Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Oral Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Division of Dentistry, you will provide preventive oral health services to our patients, develop oral health prevention and education programs, and collaborate with Attending Faculty to implement and deliver these programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide preventive oral health services to CHLA patients within the scope of your practice, as assigned.
  • Develop oral health prevention and education programs in close collaboration with Attending Faculty in the Division of Dentistry.
  • Assist in the implementation and delivery of oral health educational programs.
  • Manage and track patient care information to ensure efficacy of oral health programs implemented.
  • May assist in managing and supervising other dental auxiliary duties as assigned by Manager.
  • Act as primary liaison between the CHLA Division of Dentistry and other allied healthcare professionals involved in the care of assigned patients.

Requirements:
  • Current RDH California license (RDHAP preferred).
  • Local anesthesia.
  • Nitrous oxide.
  • Soft tissue curettage.
  • X-ray certificate.
  • Current CPR card from AHA required.

Pay Scale Information:
USD $52,208.00 - USD $90,178.40

Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
