Job Title: Pediatric Cardiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Cardiology Specialist to join our team at the University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA). As a key member of our Department of Pediatrics, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching, and research in the field of pediatric cardiology.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert care to patients with pediatric heart disease, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex cases.
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in pediatric cardiology, including didactic sessions, clinical rotations, and research projects.
  • Contribute to the development of new research initiatives and protocols in pediatric cardiology, including clinical trials, observational studies, and basic science research.
  • Collaborate with other departments and institutions to advance the field of pediatric cardiology, including participation in national and international conferences, workshops, and meetings.
Requirements:
  • Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Electrophysiology.
  • Advanced training and experience in pediatric/congenital electrophysiology.
  • Strong background in teaching and research, with a record of academic productivity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
