NOVO Construction, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and professional individual with outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to fulfill the role of Superintendent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in preconstruction activities
  • Oversee safety protocols on site
  • Manage all field operations effectively
  • Develop and maintain the construction schedule
  • Attend weekly Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings
  • Conduct site and foreman meetings

Qualifications of the Ideal Candidate:

  • Comprehensive understanding of modern construction processes and technologies
  • Exceptional communication skills with clients, architects, and landlords
  • A passion for construction and building
  • Experience in both interior tenant improvements and ground-up projects

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Relevant experience as a superintendent with a commercial general contractor
  • Completion of OSHA 30 certification is preferred (assistance with certification available upon hiring)
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in email communication, schedule creation, reading blueprints, and utilizing platforms such as Plangrid
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Physical Requirements: Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
