Clean Up Laborer Job Description

At Swinerton Incorporated, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clean Up Laborer to join our team. As a Clean Up Laborer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with manual labor duties for various construction trades and environments.
  • Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
  • Operate various tools and machines safely and effectively.
  • Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones.
  • Signal equipment operators to hoist trash/equipment and materials.
  • Pick up and dispose of trash and debris throughout jobsites, haul trash to dumpsters.
  • Sweep and clean work areas throughout the project.
  • Able to distinguish between trash/scrap and stored materials.
  • Work in an organized manner completing areas as you go.
  • Work in close proximity with other trades in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
  • Ability to learn new skills with attention to detail.
  • Lift and/or pull 75lbs., climb ladders, work off of ladders, man lifts or other equipment.
  • Ability to maintain a standing position for extended periods of time, fully squat, bend or kneel while wearing a tool belt.
  • Capable of working in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Uphold Swinerton Core Values of Integrity, Leadership, Passion and Excellence at all times.
  • Adhere to all OSHA and Swinerton safety practices and procedures.
  • Support activities at all Swinerton job-sites as directed.
