Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse RN

Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, assisting them with transitioning home from the hospital and providing the continuous care needed to remain at home with their loved ones.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health education and training to patients and family members
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
