Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse RN - Part Time Days

Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will work closely with our patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage patient care plans in accordance with physician orders and Aveanna policies
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop comprehensive care plans to address their physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice
  • Minimum 6 months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Home health experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
