Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our medically fragile children and adults in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and coordinate care plans in accordance with physician orders
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas
  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods
