- Technical Strategy: Develop technical strategies to drive Engineering goals and objectives.
- Manpower Planning: Provide and manage manpower planning for the Electrical Engineering team across multiple projects.
- Infrastructure Management: Manage tools and infrastructure required for Electrical Engineers to perform their duties effectively.
- Communication: Communicate Engineering team goals and objectives to staff members and ensure alignment with company vision.
- Training and Development: Determine training needs for the Electrical Engineering team and implement training programs.
- Performance Metrics: Implement and monitor performance metrics and conduct annual reviews.
- Quality Assurance: Review team work for technical accuracy and quality, and provide feedback for improvement.
- Project Updates: Provide regular status updates on Engineering work to Project Managers and stakeholders.
- Proposal Development: Provide technical input for proposals and business development activities.
- Staffing and Hiring: Hire and train new Electrical Engineering staff to ensure a strong and diverse team.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience designing circuit assemblies and leading engineering teams.
- Management Experience: 5+ years of experience in engineering management, with a strong track record of delivering results.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills for evaluating risks associated with product design, development, and deployment.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills for tracking requirements, technical progress, staffing, and schedules.
- Leadership Skills: Effective leadership skills for overseeing staff and communicating with other management personnel.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Clearance; active or previous Security Clearance is desired.
- Competitive Salary: Competitive salary range: $170,000 - $210,000
