Donation Coordination Opportunity:

We are looking for a skilled In-house Donation Manager to join our team at Sierra Donor Services. The successful candidate will have prior experience in critical care, preferably as a registered nurse (RN), and be able to work independently with autonomy.

The In-house Donation Manager will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of organ donation, including evaluating patient suitability, facilitating organ placement and allocation, and providing support to donor families.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient suitability for organ donation by reviewing medical records and consulting with medical staff.
  • Coordinate organ placement and allocation with transplant programs and surgeons.
  • Coordinate and assist in the surgical recovery of organs and peri-operative management.
  • Provide support to donor families and conduct medical/social history interviews.
