Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Assist patients with daily activities including hygiene, mobility, and nutritional needs.
  • Maintain a safe and organized environment for patients and staff.
  • Document patient information accurately and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Support the nursing team during patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient conditions.

Essential Functions
Your contributions will include:

  • Providing routine treatments and ensuring patient privacy and rights.
  • Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Participating in patient rounds and maintaining a clean nursing unit.
  • Transporting medical supplies and assisting with patient requests.

Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience as a nursing assistant or completion of a relevant training program.
  • Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
