Job Summary

The Food Prep-Nutrition Services Associate is a vital member of our team, responsible for assisting the Chef in food preparation and service of menu items. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Chef in food preparation and service of menu items
  • Perform various kitchen duties, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
  • Implement and adhere to Customer Service Standards
  • Support and implement patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate
  • Support and demonstrate Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers
Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, requiring various hours between 6 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Every other weekend and rotating holidays are required.

Compensation and Benefits
  • $16.00 or more per hour, pay determined by experience
  • Earn extra pay for working evening/weekend/holiday shifts
  • Full-time benefits, including medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts, and more

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • ServSafe food safety certification required within 6 months of hire
  • A valid Minnesota driver's license and good driving record may be required
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
