Position Overview
Solaris HealthCare is actively seeking Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) who are dedicated to improving the lives of our residents. We are known for our integrity and excellence in the communities we serve, and we value the contributions of our staff.

Qualifications for Speech Language Pathologist (SLP):
  • Master's degree in speech pathology or equivalent required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC/SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Must hold or be eligible for licensure as a speech-language pathologist or CFY.
  • Prior experience in Speech Therapy is preferred.
  • Membership in state and national American Speech and Hearing Association is preferred.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance are essential.
  • Strong administrative and public relations skills are required.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of speech therapy principles, methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Awareness of potential patient hazards during treatment and necessary precautions.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with patients and gain their cooperation in prescribed treatments.
  • Capability to maintain effective relationships with medical staff and other personnel.
  • Ability to interpret and implement physician's instructions and recommend treatment programs.
  • Emotional stability to manage the demands of patients and colleagues.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality for patients and staff.
  • Knowledge of Medicare and third-party reimbursement is preferred.
