Job Summary

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district. This position offers flexibility with both full-time (35 hours/week) and part-time options available. The role is strictly onsite, providing an opportunity to work directly with students in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders.
  • Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Develop and implement IEPs for students with speech and language needs.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and development.
  • Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of student evaluations, progress, and therapy sessions.
  • IEP Meetings and Professional Input: Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional input on student goals and achievements.
  • Adaptation and Modification: Adapt and modify therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students.
Requirements
  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensure: Valid Florida state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or in process of obtaining CCC.
  • Experience: Experience in a school setting preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
