The Department of Veteran Affairs is in search of a dedicated Physician with expertise in Hematology/Oncology. The successful candidate will focus on coagulation disorders and a variety of hematologic diseases. This role entails providing comprehensive patient care through both consultative services and direct care in hematology/oncology, which includes managing the administration of anticancer treatments.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- This position is not remote.
- Compensation: Competitive salary package with potential annual performance bonuses and regular salary increases
- Incentives: Recruitment/Relocation Incentive available
- Relocation Assistance: Eligible for this position
- Education Debt Reduction Program: Eligible for student loan repayment
- EDRP Authorized: Up to $200,000 for educational debt
- Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of annual paid time off, including annual leave, sick leave, and paid federal holidays
- Retirement Benefits: Traditional federal pension with a 5-year vesting period, along with a federal 401K with contributions by Veterans Affairs

- Contractual Information: No Physician Employment Contract and minimal restrictions on additional work
- Contract Buy Out Program: Allows for the buyout of service contracts, including locum agreements and loan repayments
