Medical Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at OakBend Medical Center. As a Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and efficient analysis of specimens processed in our clinical laboratory.
Responsibilities- Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Director and Manager, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology/Serology, Urinalysis, and Limited Microbiology.
- You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, and for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Additionally, you will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies, and to participate in ongoing education and training programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related science from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting, preferably with ASCP certification or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge and skills in laboratory procedures, including Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Immunology/Serology, Urinalysis, and Limited Microbiology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
