The Department of Veteran Affairs is in search of a dedicated Physician with expertise in Hematology/Oncology. The selected candidate will primarily focus on disorders related to coagulation and various hematologic diseases. This position entails providing comprehensive patient care through both consultative services and managing inpatient and outpatient cases in the hematology/oncology domain, which includes supervising the administration of anticancer treatments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Location: This role is not eligible for remote work.
  • Compensation: A competitive salary package with the potential for an annual performance bonus and regular salary adjustments.
  • Incentives: Recruitment and relocation incentives are available for this position.
  • Relocation Assistance: Eligible for support with Permanent Change of Station.
  • Student Loan Repayment: The position qualifies for the Education Debt Reduction Program.
  • Debt Repayment Program: Authorized for up to $200,000 for educational loans.
  • Paid Time Off: Offering 50-55 days of annual paid leave, including vacation, sick leave, federal holidays, and potential CME-related absences.

  • Contractual Terms: No employment contract for physicians and minimal restrictions on additional work.
  • Contract Buyout Program: Options available for the buyout of service contracts, including locum tenens agreements and loan repayment contracts.
