Position Summary:

The Territory Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in expanding the reach of Carolina West Wireless' Clearstream offerings. This position emphasizes external sales activities, including lead generation, brand promotion, community engagement, and event participation, making the specialist a vital component of the Clearstream sales initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business opportunities through direct sales efforts, community events, partnerships, and networking.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with local enterprises, educational institutions, real estate professionals, developers, and influential municipal figures.
  • Leverage mapping tools and conduct online research to pinpoint strategic sales areas.
  • Engage with select neighborhoods to gauge interest in new Internet Service Provider (ISP) options.
  • Travel within the designated sales area to connect with potential clients and existing customers.
  • Showcase products and services to prospective clients.
  • Assess customer requirements, identify challenges, and propose technological solutions that address their needs.
  • Actively seek out and participate in various community events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Consistently achieve and surpass monthly sales objectives.
  • Educate clients about the innovative features of our Clearstream solutions.
  • Understand customer needs and assist in crafting solutions across connected home technologies, OTT video, VoIP, WiFi, cloud services, security, mobility, and home services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Product Development, Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Service, to enhance product offerings and ensure an outstanding customer experience.
  • Refine internal processes to improve efficiency in time management and client relations.
  • Monitor progress and provide detailed reports to relevant stakeholders as required.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; high school diploma/GED is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • 3-5 years of experience in outside sales is required.
  • Proven track record of engaging in community events that enhance brand awareness and drive sales growth.
  • Experience in technology sales or home solutions is advantageous.
  • Interest in and understanding of technology products and services.
  • Basic knowledge of wireless, landline, and telecommunications is preferred.
  • Strong skills in prospecting, sales, and negotiation.
  • Self-motivated, trustworthy, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
  • Positive, authentic, and solution-oriented team player with a good sense of humor.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to listen and develop creative solutions for clients.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly and deliver effective presentations.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Innovative and strategic thinker who is also hands-on with the work.
