About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Kirkland, Washington. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with speech, language, learning, cognitive-communication, swallowing/feeding, and fluency disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose patients with complex communication needs, developing personalized care plans to address their unique requirements.
  • Implement evidence-based treatments, including speech therapy, cognitive training, and swallow rehabilitation, to improve patients' functional abilities and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and adhere to regulatory requirements and departmental policies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 9 months of clinical experience as a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, with paid fellowship experience considered towards meeting the experience requirement.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington State, with Basic Life Support certification also required.

Preferred qualifications include 5 years of clinical experience, Lee Silverman Voice Treatment Certification, and expertise in FEES, videofluoroscopy, videostroboscopy, American Sign Language, PROMPT, and accent modification.

Kaiser Permanente offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
