Position: Office Coordinator

Role Summary:

The Office Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the administrative functions within an organization. This position is essential for ensuring that effective services are delivered in a healthcare setting. The individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing various administrative tasks to enhance the operational efficiency of the facility.

Reporting Structure:

The Office Coordinator will report directly to the Administrator of the facility.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience is preferred. Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in administrative roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity. Certification in Human Resources Management is advantageous.

Skills and Experience:

Proficiency in filing systems, computer applications, and knowledge of medical terminology is essential. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to foster positive working relationships with colleagues and other departments consistently.

Position Requirements:

Prior experience in an administrative role is preferred, along with skills in typing and office management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance organizational effectiveness by planning, implementing, and assessing administrative policies and procedures.
  • Maintain operational structure by updating job descriptions and requirements.
  • Support staff by establishing recruitment and training programs, and providing guidance on candidate selection.
  • Prepare employees for their roles through effective orientation and training initiatives.
  • Manage compensation plans by conducting pay surveys and preparing budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards by monitoring and implementing relevant regulations.
  • Retain historical records by designing an efficient filing and retrieval system.
  • Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results as necessary.

The primary work environment encompasses various areas within the facility, which may involve exposure to stressful situations. The role requires a self-motivated individual who can handle prolonged periods of sedentary work while remaining organized and detail-oriented.
