Job Description

Niagara Distributors is seeking a highly skilled Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and new customers, and will be responsible for the development and growth of assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop close working relationships with decision makers and buyers at target accounts
  • Responsible for all sales results at assigned and targeted accounts
  • Responsible for all A/R collections in each assigned account
  • Build overall sales and account penetration at assigned and targeted accounts
  • Responsible for pricing and margin management within assigned accounts
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis, Monday through Friday
  • Actively participate in training sessions to improve knowledge and skills
  • Propose and negotiate sales and pricing to assigned accounts and new customers

Requirements:

  • Aggressive and tactful salesmanship skills
  • Financial business analytical skills
  • Computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Category and product knowledge
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to build relationships
  • Negotiation and pricing analysis skills

Experience:

  • Sales experience: 2 years
  • Food and beverage experience: 1 year (a plus)
  • Language: Proficient in Spanish and English (mandatory)
