Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Case Manager to join our team at Marion County. As a key member of our Behavioral Health team, you will play a critical role in providing community stabilization services to clients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Salem Hospital, Marion County Jail, and other community partners to address urgent/crisis situations
  • Manage a caseload of individuals with few to no financial support resources who are struggling to connect in the community
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to divert clients from emergency rooms, inpatient hospitalization, and jail
  • Provide brief therapy and connect clients with community services, including benefits, case management, counseling, and medication
  • Document clinical records in a timely fashion and meet performance expectations for time and billing standards
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field
  • One year of post-master's degree experience in the behavioral health field
  • Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, or credentialed through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon
  • Salem Hospital Credentialing: must possess or obtain within 6 months of hire
