Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Support Specialist to join our team at Whitecap Search. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Takes vital signs and performs in-house lab tests, collecting specimens for external labs as needed.
- Ensures the clinical area is well-stocked and organized, disposing of outdated supplies and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Cleans and sterilizes equipment, logging each service performed.
- Performs basic clerical tasks, answering phones, communicating with nurses, and handling telephone inquiries.
- Maintains accurate logs and records.
Requirements:
- Minimum Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred Education: Vocational or Technical School diploma in Medical Technology.
- Minimum Related Work Experience: 1 year.
- Previous experience in Urgent Care or Primary Care/Internal Medicine is highly desirable.
