Exciting Opportunity at Brown & Brown Insurance

We are seeking a highly skilled Revenue Accountant to join our team in Minneapolis. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and post monthly 606 revenue recognition journal entries
  • Assist in analyzing revenue to ensure compliance with 606
  • Participate in training opportunities to remain current on industry information
  • Become subject matter expert in ASC 606 revenue recognition and related B&B processes and guidelines
  • Assist with month end entries related to revenue
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office environment, including but not limited to Teams, Word, and Excel
  • 3+ years accounting experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge in ASC 606
  • Insurance industry experience preferred
