Job Summary

As a key member of the Procurement Team at Berk Enterprises, the Assistant Buyer will play a vital role in the company's business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the procurement of goods and services, vendor research, and tracking of orders. This role requires excellent administrative and communication skills, as well as a strong understanding of procurement activities, including item analysis, dimensional statistics, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Procurement Team in the procurement of goods and services
  • Conduct vendor research and analysis
  • Track and manage orders, including updating records and communicating with vendors
  • Assist with the RFQ process and creation of purchasing department SOPs
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication with internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • 1+ year(s) relevant experience in procurement or a related field
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid organizational skills and a positive attitude
