  • Oversee contractor performance and ensure adherence to project standards.
  • Support the contractor's system design review program, focusing on performance and planning activities, as well as the nuclear safety program for the WTP High Level Waste (HLW) Facility.
  • Assist in evaluating Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) progress for the WTP HLW systems in both baseline and DFLAW configurations.

  • Experience: A minimum of nine years of successful experience as a management consultant or senior manager, working closely with organizational executives and senior management on significant management, technical, or business challenges.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with oversight processes related to the Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP) in accordance with DOE protocols, with the ability to document results effectively.
  • Experience in providing quality oversight functions to WTP Federal Project Directors, addressing performance issues, and verifying the completion of facility milestones.
  • Compliance with site-specific safety and security protocols is mandatory.
  • Identification of any potential conflicts of interest with Hanford Site contractors is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is a prerequisite.

Work Environment:

The position is based at the Department of Energy government offices, with potential telework options available at the discretion of the Technical Monitor (TM) in consultation with the Contracting Officer (CO). In-person support may be required as determined by the TM or CO.
