Job Overview

The Gordon Highlander Corporation is seeking a seasoned Senior Construction Project Manager to lead our ground up construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, with a strong background in ground up tilt wall construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
  • Select and analyze metrics to produce valid estimates.
  • Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, and related documents.
  • Create and expand the organizational footprint, building positive top of mind awareness.
  • Compute costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
  • Analyze data and produce forecasts.
  • Perform risk analysis.
  • Prepare detailed reports or bids for submission to appropriate parties.
  • Select advantageous deals by evaluating offers and quotes.
  • Foster relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, architects, etc.).
  • Project manage corporate interior finish out and industrial finish out, including planning, scheduling, design coordination, and documentation.
  • Provide ongoing progress updates on new business development activities and other key indicators.
  • Monitor project deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Update relevant stakeholders or team members on project progress.
  • Coach and support project team members with tasks assigned.
  • Project billing and pay applications.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in Ground Up Tilt Wall Construction.
  • Strong business acumen in project planning and management.
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
