Job Title: Traveling Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Superintendent to join our team at Falcon Construction.

Job Summary

The Traveling Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of construction projects, ensuring the quality of work and materials, and managing the budget. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with subcontractors and government inspectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to site teams.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure they meet project requirements and standards.
  • Manage and track project costs, including materials and labor expenses.
  • Work with government inspectors to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience in construction project management or a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management software and tools, including Procore.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic hand tools for occasional use on site.
Physical Requirements

This role requires extensive travel and the ability to move around construction sites as needed. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
