About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Assistant and Unit Coordinator to join our team at Asante Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our nursing units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Registered Nurses in providing patient care, addressing psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, and age-specific needs
  • Perform a range of clerical, receptionist, and administrative tasks to support the nursing unit
  • Facilitate workflow, communication, and transcription of physician orders under the supervision of an RN
  • Promote patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction, and actively participate in patient satisfaction initiatives
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Responsive Observations in practice of care
  • Provide excellent communication between staff and patients/customers
  • Promote and maintain Asante's Vision and Values
Requirements
  • Completion of an OSBN-approved CNA-2 training program
  • Knowledge of medical terminology gained through education or experience in a healthcare setting
