Job Title: Substance Use Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Specialist to join our team at Pyramid Healthcare Inc. in Asheville/Mars Hill, North Carolina.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide direct-care services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders, utilizing evidence-based treatments and interventions. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care and support to our clients, while also collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as family therapy and counseling.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Collaborate with clients, family members, and referral sources to ensure seamless communication and support.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Provide crisis intervention and emergency services, as needed.
Requirements:
  • LCAS, CADC, or ability to achieve certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Qualified Professional Status according to 10A NCAC 27G.0104.
