This position involves managing and updating Installation work order requests from clients and office staff. You will communicate workload expectations to Field Service Technicians and closely monitor their progress to ensure that assigned tasks are completed efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with field technicians through electronic communication.
  • Collaborate with third-party dispatchers via email and instant messaging tools.
  • Update, create, and manage work order requests from field technicians.
  • Oversee daily routing of work orders and manage technician schedules using various software systems to ensure customer appointments are fulfilled.
  • Handle cancellations, rescheduling, and reassigning of work tasks for Field Technicians.
  • Respond to incoming inquiries from field technicians, clients, and company representatives.
  • Contact clients to inform them about service requests and confirm scheduled appointments.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and submit necessary approvals to supervisors.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry for service requests.
  • Assist customer service with escalated issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Telecommunications or Cable Dispatching sector is advantageous, though not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided to suitable candidates.
  • A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least one year of experience in a dynamic customer support role involving significant telephone and email interactions.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
