Your Role:
This position will report directly to the Vice President of Land Acquisitions and is crucial in overseeing the division's land acquisition initiatives while fostering positive relationships with land sellers and the brokerage community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and executing strategic business plans, ensuring the division's land acquisition needs are met.
  • Prepare and regularly update annual objectives, budgets, and timelines for assigned projects.
  • Lead negotiations in land acquisitions, managing purchase documentation, financial assessments, and due diligence processes.
  • Coordinate the preparation of division profiles and marketing materials, ensuring quality and effective communication.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive land acquisition tracking system for all transactions.
  • Generate periodic reports on deal status, aligning with business plan assumptions and acquisition strategies.
  • Maintain a historical database of land acquisitions to support future decision-making.
  • Act as a liaison with the land brokerage community, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and maximizing opportunities.
  • Develop and implement effective land acquisition processes and procedures.
  • Assist in managing division budgets related to land acquisitions and oversee vendor contracts and invoices.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in land acquisition or residential real estate.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in relevant software applications.
  • Experience with market research tools and real estate negotiation principles.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of solving complex problems.
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record required.
  • Local experience is preferred.
