Job Summary:

The Parking Control Officer will manage and support customer service initiatives while performing various functions such as ticket writing, information booth attendance, and customer assistance. This role involves collaborating with the Parking Control Supervisor and Assistant Director to coordinate parking and transportation for campus events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ticket Writing: Patrol parking areas to ensure authorized vehicle usage.
  • Booth Attendee: Provide directional information and issue visitor permits.
  • Event Setup/Tear Down: Assist with the delivery and setup of event materials.
  • Customer Service Representative: Act as a liaison between the parking office and the campus community.
  • Boot Driver: Install and remove immobilization devices as necessary.
  • Auto Assistance: Offer key and battery assistance to motorists.
  • Supervisor: Oversee student employees as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma.
  • Valid US Driver's License.
  • One year of experience with extensive public contact.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a service or business-related field with two or more years of experience in parking and transportation.
  • Previous experience in staff management.
Background Check Requirement:

A criminal background check will be conducted on applicants under final consideration for employment.
