Ultrasound Technologist PRN Opportunity

HCA Florida Englewood Hospital is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our Imaging Team on a full-time/part-time/PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As a valued member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Job Summary

The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing routine diagnostic sonographic procedures in a careful, compassionate, and respectful manner. This includes preparing and positioning patients and equipment, obtaining high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, and maintaining effective communication with patients and radiologists.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients and equipment for sonographic procedures
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality images
  • Communicate with patients and radiologists regarding test results and patient histories
Requirements
  • General Ultrasound experience preferred; Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited program for radiographers or ultra-sonographers; Vocational School Graduate
  • RDMS Abdomen Specialty, or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
