Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our Imaging Team at HCA Florida Englewood Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine diagnostic sonographic procedures with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Obtain high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients and radiologists regarding findings, patient histories, and test results.
Requirements
  • General Ultrasound experience preferred, with a focus on Abdomen, OB/GYN, and Vascular imaging.
  • Graduate of an accredited program for radiographers or ultra-sonographers.
  • RDMS Abdomen Specialty or Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) certification required within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
