Position Overview:
As a dedicated and proactive Communications Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the communication strategies of our client, a prominent membership organization in the housing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans that resonate with members and stakeholders.
- Manage media relations and public relations initiatives to enhance the organization's visibility.
- Collaborate with external partners to prepare for significant electoral events.
- Oversee the creation and distribution of engaging content across various platforms, including social media and newsletters.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials and media representatives.

About You:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in executing effective communication strategies.
- A degree in communications, public relations, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of Federal and Provincial housing programs and legislation.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a talent for diplomacy and conflict resolution.
- Proficient in managing communications across diverse platforms, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with virtual meeting tools and CRM systems is essential.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Additional Skills:
- Graphic design and content creation skills are advantageous.
- Experience in the non-profit housing sector is a plus.
