Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Direction: Formulate and execute production strategies that align with the broader business goals. Provide inspirational leadership to the production team to meet operational targets and drive growth.
  • Operational Supervision: Manage all production activities, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and cost management. Introduce best practices and continuous improvement strategies to boost productivity and minimize waste.

  • Supply Chain Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain and logistics teams to guarantee timely production scheduling, effective inventory management, and prompt delivery of finished products.
  • Financial Oversight: Create and manage the production budget. Track spending, optimize resource distribution, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or safety.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations. Advocate for a safe workplace and lead initiatives aimed at reducing workplace incidents.
  • Innovation and Technology: Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements. Assess and integrate new technologies and automation solutions to improve production capabilities.

Qualifications:

Experience: At least 15 years of experience in manufacturing, with a minimum of 10 years in a leadership capacity within the consumer goods sector.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
