Position Overview:

HR Legal Assistant

Academy SOAR Returnship Program

Location: Mexico City | Employment Type: Temporary, Full-Time

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to participate in our inaugural Returnship Program (SOAR) as an HR Legal Assistant.

This compensated program aims to support and reintegrate dedicated professionals who have experienced a career hiatus of at least six months and are looking to re-enter the workforce.

As a participant in the SOAR initiative, you will have the opportunity to refresh and develop your skills while contributing to impactful projects within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the database and management information system (MIS) for all contracts, including licensing, vendor, and lease agreements, processed by the local legal team.
  • Gain practical experience in drafting, preparing, and reviewing various contracts.
  • Draft and review licensing agreements, vendor contracts, lease agreements, and more.
  • Manage daily legal documentation and contract oversight.
  • Coordinate with external and local legal professionals and consultants.
  • Assist legal counsel with related tasks and assignments.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Practical experience in drafting, preparing, and reviewing contracts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law or equivalent experience.
  • 2 to 3 years of post-qualification work experience.
  • Familiarity with contract law is preferred.
