Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Operator to join our team at the J.R. Simplot Company in Grand Forks, FG. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating all equipment, including air compressors, HVAC systems, and the ammonia refrigeration system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Operate and monitor the ammonia refrigeration system to maintain temperature control and safety standards
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing filters and belts, and making minor repairs
  • Work in extreme environments, including cold, hot, humid, and slippery conditions
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and meet production goals
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Relevant experience in refrigeration and HVAC maintenance
  • Must be able to read, understand, and communicate in English
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a basic knowledge of HVAC equipment and be able to change filters, belts, and make minor repairs
