Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Equipment Specialist to join our team at Kelly Services, Inc. in Grand Forks. As an Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance checks, addressing units in repair queue, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our data center and repair center.

About the Role

This is a 12-month temporary position with the possibility of conversion to a salaried employee after a 3-month probation period. The ideal candidate will have experience working with computer equipment and programs, be comfortable with heights, and possess basic hand tool skills. A high level of attention to detail and basic troubleshooting skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance checks, including cleaning, basic troubleshooting, and inspection.
  • Address units in repair queue, diagnose issues, and update their status.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of our data center and repair center.
  • Maintain the order and neatness of all tools, workstations, and laptops.
  • Assist with the deployment of machines, including unboxing and racking.
Requirements
  • Experience working with computer equipment and programs.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and in a non-temperature-controlled facility.
  • Comfortable with heights using scissor lifts and ladders.
  • Able to use basic hand tools, including impact drivers and screwdrivers.
  • High attention to detail and basic troubleshooting skills.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $20 per hour, with the possibility of overtime as needed. As a Kelly Services, Inc. employee, you will have access to a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement savings plan and paid holiday time.

Work Schedule

The work schedule for this position is 7am-7pm, with 12-hour shifts and alternating Wednesdays. There are two possible schedule options: Sunday-Tuesday with alternating Wednesdays or alternating Wednesdays with Thursday-Saturday.
